It is possible to halve violence rate in the world within next 30 years. It is the firm belief of researchers at University of Cambridge, whose study was presented at the 1st Global Violence Reduction Conference hold last days in Cambridge. Examples of successful homicide reduction over the past 15 years can be found across the world: from Canada and Italy to China and New Zealand. Analogous cases can be found in Estonia, Hong Kong, South Africa, Poland and Russia, that have seen an average  recorded homicide rates drop by 40% over the same period. In general – say experts – has been observed a decrease, at a global level, by 2.3% per year, what can lead to -50% in homicide, domestic violence, abuses on children in thirty years. Provided that every country follows the good examples.
