Covering 1200 kilometers throughout Peru on bike and by foot. This was Andrea Devincenzi’s special undertaking completed yesterday. Devincenzi is a Paralympic triathlete despite the fact that from the age of 17 he has had only one leg. But Andrea never thought of giving up sports. His journey started in Lima and ended in Machu Picchu and was documented along the way on his dedicated website. He shared the entire experience – from the tough athletic preparation before the trip to the solitary 15 days trekking through Peru’s challenging natural environment.
