Massimo Lo Cicero, graduated in Economics at the University of Naples in 1973. He currently lectures at the faculty of Economics of the University of Tor Vergata of Rome and at the faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Rome La Sapienza. He lectured and gave conferences in many universities of Latin America. He was also ordinary member of the Superior Council of Comunications for the four-year period 2005-2009. He is in the scientific Committee of Ansaldo Foundation; of the scientific Committee of the Economic Journal of Southern Italy SVIMEZ; of the laboratory for development policies at the Ministry for the economic development. He is financial advisor at Roma Tre University in Rome. He is auditor and has been also advisor and director for banks, enterprises and public bodies both national and international. He is also a free lance journalist. He edited programs for Rai and he was also editorialist and opinion leader for Il Sole 24 Ore, Il Riformista, Il Mattino ed Emporion, an online magazine for the Enel group. He publishes essays and studies of economy, finance and political economy on L’Acropoli, Economia Italiana, Ideazione and Aspenia and in other Italian magazines.
