In Italy, 30% of mothers stopped working in order to take care of their family. Compared to 3% of fathers. Not to mention that there are about 800,000 women who said they were fired or obliged to resign because of pregnancy. These are some of the figures which were disclosed during the “General States on women’s work in Italy” organized by CNEL.
