In Poland 50% of patients suffering from post-op unbearable pains do not receive any adequate medication. The alert is sent out by the National Association of the Pain Treatment which through its own initiative issues guarantee certificates to those hospitals whose staff is adequately trained to alleviate the suffering of patients in the wake of the most invasive interventions.
