In Italy, the National Observatory on the Family, has produced a study that analyzes intergenerational relationships within families. What emerges above all is that the grandparents are those who mainly take care of their grandchildren. But such efforts are not rewarded by their relatives. Who, when needed, find it hard to take care of their older relatives, especially if they are not self-sufficient.
