When we talk about the LGBT community often we tend to forget that there are also transsexuals. No coincidence that there are very few studies devoted to them. Of these, the most recent one was completed in Spain by the Lamba Collective who has recorded numbers and characteristics of the Iberian varied galaxy of transsexuality. Consists of about 2,292 individuals, of which 25% immigrant from a Latin American country, with a fairly high average level of education. The graduates, in fact, are a quarter of the total. In years of studies, however, very few have been dared the coming out openly declaring their orientation. A situation of isolation and discrimination suffered at school but that becomes worse with the transition to working life. Which, for many people, continues to be a right almost inaccessible. To prove this the fact that 33% do not earn more than € 600 per month. Striking but not surprising, therefore, the high percentage of those who seek prostitution to survive.
