Spain, the migrants party moves forward

A growing number of Spanish are choosing to leave their homeland in order to emigrate. In fact, according to figures released by the National Statistics Institute (INE), in 2010 Spanish who live abroad increased by 8.2% compared to 2009, reaching around 1.7million. Although they can be more, because the statistic consider only those officially registered in the Register of residents outside the boundary (PERE). The majority lives between the two sides of the Atlantic: 61% in t the American Continent and 35.4% in another European country. In absolute terms, the majority of Spanish nationality people are living in Argentina, France, Venezuela and Germany. Data also indicate that 61.9% was aged between 16 and 64, 23.7% were 65 years old and 14.3% less than 16.
