The loneliness of the homosexual disabled

A world where the majority of healthy heterosexual ignore, until to erase, the existence of homosexuality among disabled people is a painful, yet common, reality. While very little is known, until now, about the type of relationship between members of these minorities. Hence the importance and novelty of the results of a research carried out, in this regard, by the University of Namur, which has highlighted the existence of a high level of intolerance towards the gay community of people with disabilities. Resulting in important manner, by a sort of primacy “aesthetics”, widespread inside, made of athleticism and methods of courtship that are incompatible with those accessible to the disabled. In many cases, even their right to take part in an event such as the Gay Pride has been questioned. But also on the other side things are not going well. Especially if you consider that there is a lot of disabled people associations refusing to address the issue of homosexuality among its members. The truth is that both sides justify this mutual and negative removal with the motivation that their claims, to impose themselves, must be centered on the needs of their majority. What matters, therefore, is the majority of the minority. With the result of condemning the homosexual disabled to an almost absolute solitude .
