A week may be infinite for those waiting for the result of an HIV test. A real breakthrough compared to traditional test called Elisa that left people in a sort of limbo for about 7 days. It is worth emphasizing also that TROD is more reliable than its predecessor. The confirmation comes from a recent epidemiological study published in the Epidemiological Bulletin, that conducted over 2500 patients has not even had one case of “false negative”.
