Even though in the world the number of mental diseases has increased, the amount of financial resources for mental care has decreased. Actually, on average only €2 per day are spent for these kind of pathologies. Poor countries spend 25 cents less than developed ones. This is the full picture that comes out the Mental Health Atlas 2011.
