The Polish female members of the Parliament have certainly not overlooked the scam orchestrated against them. Despite the fact that in the last elections the so outraged gender quotas have finally been introduced, in reality, little has changed. Their presence is increased by only a weak 4%. For the simple reason that the party leaders have put women among the last candidates of the electoral rolls. A clever bit that the 110 female MPs from different political hues have not digested at all. To the point of announcing for December the birth of the first parliamentary group to be exclusively meant for the fair sex. The initiative, promoted by an exponent of the government, aims to develop and field the most effective strategy for defending gender related rights. The news met with such a response inside and outside the corridors of power to lead more than a few male politicians to apply for admission to this exclusive club.
