French young people are more and more responsibles and socialy committed. Indeed, with the entry into force of the new law for career development and alternance, all French sixteen year olds will be able to create a social association. Until now the age of majority was necessary for engage itself in the creation of an organization with social purposes. This latter measure of Sarkozy’s executive aims to give more responsability to French teenagers allowing them to acquire greater autonomy and participation in social life of the country.The law is a corollary to other two initiatives related to youth’s career.The first, which came into force last January, gives to boys from 16 years the opportunity to start an own company without having to wait for the major age. The second, instead, lowered to 14 years old, the age to work as apprentice.
