Romania, studying in mother tongue

The Romanian Senate adopted yesterday a proposal to modify an older Romanian law in a way that would allow adults from national minorities to get vocational training in their mother tongue. Although the Romanian Constitution gives the right to people belonging to national minorities to study in their mother tongue, this doesn’t happen in the field of vocational training for adults. The new proposals comes to solve this issue by making it clear that adults from national minorities can benefit of this training in their own language or in Romanian.
