Permanent contract for three Italian persons with Down’s Syndromeby Annalisa Lista - 2017.01.11
Three Italian young persons with Down’s Syndrome have obtained a permanent contract in the restaurant chain Bacio di latte based in the region Puglia. Good news coming from the AIPD , the Italian Association for People with Down’s Syndrome, who has helped Piera (22 years-old), Simona (31) and Roberto (22), two bartenders and a waiter, gradually integrate into the world of work. Their hiring, in fact, came after a successful six-month traineeship in one of the restaurants, based in Bari. A good outcome both for the three young people and for the association that in the latest ten years has helped tens of young people with Trisomy 21 find a job.
