According to the last figures released by the Commission for the Supervision and Control of Doping of the Ministry of Health, in 2011, of 1,676 athletes subjected to controls, 52 were positive. -15% In Italy, over the past 8 years, university registrations have declined by 15%. In total, in 2010-2011, less than 1 out of 3 nineteen year old student enrolled at the university. The number of degrees, however, has exponentially increased, rising from 172 thousand in 2001 to 289 thousand in 2010. Currently, in Italy, 20% of the population aged between 30 and 34 years is graduated. A percentage far from the EU target of achieving 40% by 2020. These are some of the figures emerging from the 14th  Almalaurea survey on the profile of graduates.

In 2011, Italian people aged over 6 years who have read at least 1 book in 12 months, not for academic or professional reasons, were almost 26 million. Equal to 45.3% of the population, down from 46.8% of the previous year. According to the last figures by the Italian Institute of Statistics, women are the most assiduous readers: 51.6% versus 38.5% of men. To be noted, however, that the gender differences are higher in the age group 15-44 years. While they tend to fall significantly among people aged over 60 years.

In Italy every year there are 5,000 cases of ovarian cancer occurring in women of advanced age, 63% of them do not survive the disease. In Europe every day 500 patients die for ovarian cancer. It's the conference ACTO non-profit organization organized in collaboration with the Institute for Pharmacological Research Mario Negri, denouncing the lack of information on this disease, often confused with uterine cancer, and the difficulties in an accurate diagnosis because of the asymptomatic until an advanced stage, which drastically reduces the chances of recovery.

50% In France, in the new centers for after-school activities, 50% of available seats are for children with disabilities. For young people aged between 3 and 13 years old, the Centre de loisirs à parité have as a goal the development of a spirit of solidarity and responsibility.
