Mid-life between dreams and reality

They are between 50 and 65, enjoy good health and free time to do what makes them more satisfied. Here is the idyllic portrayal of French middle-aged men and women. 64% declared to be in search of pleasant emotions in what is considered to be the happiest time of a man’s life. The enthusiasm, however, is shattered by the harsh reality of pensions that are not enough and bills to pay. However, in addition to the difficulties dictated primarily by the economic crisis, which in reality unites all, the members of this age group live in an exceptional situation. Not by chance, they are defined the “sandwich” generation, squeezed from one side by their elderly parents and from the other by their sons or daughters and grandchildren. From whatever side you turn on, in short, there is someone who needs their help. It only remains to put the family at the center, of which they claim to be the backbone, sacrificing dreams and future projects.
