From apprentices to employees

In Italy, in 2010, almost 177,000 workers have been transformed from apprentices to permanent employees. Recording a significant increase over the previous year: +12.3%. A percentage which rises even to +19.6% in the Central regions against +5.4% in the Southern ones. To be noted that the figure concerning women is slightly higher than that of men: +13.5% versus +11.5%. This is what emerges from the 12° ISFOL monitoring report which made the point about the use of this type of contract in the years 2009-2010.
