Laura Zunica studies law and International law at Cattolica University of Milan. In the last 7 years she ahs been working with NGOs among which CISV International (for which she was the national representative for Italy and Coordinator of the European and Middle East Region); with Non-Violence XXI during her one year stay in Paris and with Amnesty International. In 2009 she interned for the UN agency for the rights of women (UNIFEM) at Cairo, where she lived for a year and a half. In Cairo she worked for Incontro Mediterraneo, the journal of the Italian community. She is the founder and project manager of Interns at Cairo, a recruitment agency for foreign students who wish to intern in Cairo (www.internsincairo.com). At the moment she collaborates with some journals among which West, Tamarindo, Il Rosatese, Incontro Mediterraneo and Il Reporter.
