Do robots threat employment?
89%
89% of the Portuguese think that robots threat their employment. On average, the rest of Europe is convinced about it to 70%. The survey conducted by TNS Sofres and published by the European Commission shows a line of demarcation between the countries of the North, less suspicious, and the South (Portugal at all) in which robots are seen as a threat to their jobs. Common positive line on the use of robotics for space exploration, industry, the medical sector and the cleaning of the house. Wary, however, for services for children, the elderly and the disabled. The survey shows that the use of robotics is still very limited in Europe. Only 12% of Europeans use robot at home or in the workplace.
