Tuscany is the Italian region with the highest consumption of antidepressants: about 50% higher than the national average. To be noted, however, that there are interesting regional differences. In the first position, we find the Local Health Unit No.3 of Pistoia. While, at the bottom there is the Local Health Unit No.4 of Prato. In general, the most frequent users are women. These are some of the results emerging from a publication on mental health.
