Judgment

In Italy the Supreme Court of Cassation has convicted two Albanian parents for the crimes of abuse of disciplinary measures and tempted private violence against the minor daughter, because they prevented her from seeing a same age Italian boy, she had fallen in love with. The justifications of the defendants, according to which their conduct was justified by their socio-cultural origin, were not considered acceptable.
