In Italy the car insurance is paid according to your citizenship. It is a reality, in fact, that some companies apply surcharges for citizens coming from particular countries. If you are French, for example, you pay the same as an Italian: € 548.35. But the figure rises up to nearly double, if you are Romanian (€ 850.59), Bulgarian (€ 906.11) or Moroccan (€ 1,100.40).
