The wind of quotas blows again on the European Union. According to the data, in fact, this is the only way to achieve the discussed gender equality in both the political and economic spheres. After Norway, France, Spain and Italy, this time it is the turn of Belgium where in 2012 30% of boards in public and private listed companies it will be represented by managers in skirt. Ladies will be added gradually that the mandate of another administrator will expire, until the set percentage. The companies will have 5 years to adapt to the new standard. For those who do not respect the law it has provided the suspension of concessions, mainly financial, granted to managers. Who knows if at least an obligation imposed from above will improve the low performance of the Kingdom of Albert II nowadays women cover just 7% of top management roles within companies.
