In catholic Ireland, more and more women go out of the country in order to abort. It is estimated that each year 5.500 women go to England to be subjected to this kind of intervention. A though reality due to the fact that in the green island the voluntary interruption of pregnancy is a real taboo. So much so that many women organize the trip to the English capital city without saying anything to their relatives or acting as they are going to go out for a weekend of shopping. If this is not enough, when they come back home do not turn to a doctor to monitor the delicate aftercare phase because of then shame. This is a phenomenon that, even tough is increasing, concerns a limit elite of privileged persons. For whom has not sufficient economic means there are only two solutions: illegal abortion or relying on solutions provided by the internet world, with all its consequences as, for instance, the use of not so reliable medicine that can be harmful and useless.
