A spanish scandal

Even who is top of the class have some skeletons in the closet. In Spain, the world leader in organ transplantation, it does not assuage the controversy surrounding the alleged illegal business related to bone marrow donations. DKMS, the German association with offices around Europe, is the center of the scandal. It makes available their database of people willing to undergo the extraction of bone marrow in case of needs. An important reality that in the Iberian Peninsula in 2010 it made possible at least 45% of the surgeries of this type. But, according to the Ministry of Health, DKMS, in addition to fuel a real black market in donations, does not possess the necessary government approvals to conduct its activities in Spain. A charge that if it is confirmed by the judicial authorities it should bring at least to the resignation of the heads of the national health system, as well as the relevant Minister. That, in the meantime, will have to deal with the many angry patients awaiting a transplant.
